Synopsis
The SAP Netweaver XI Request Warranty Claim business package enables Warranty Claims processing via RosettaNet PIP 6C2.
- Authorized Service Providers (ASP) submit Warranty Claims to a Warranty Provider. These Warranty Claim messages are sent from the ASP to the Warranty Provider XI system via RNIF.
- The message is processed within XI, mapped and sent to the SAP Warranty Management application within R/3 or CRM.
- When processing has completed in the backend system, a Warranty Response message is sent from SAP R/3 via Netweaver XI, and returned to the ASP via RNIF.
