Business Package Details

The SAP Warranty application (LO-WTY) allows managing of customer and vendor warranties, claim processing, posting to FI&CO, and claims analysis . RosettaNet_ERP is an implementation of the RosettaNet PIP6C2: Request Warranty Claim" industry standard in SAP XI. The Partner Information Process (PIP) allows the processing of a Warranty Claim to a Warranty Provider for warranty servicing and permits a response from the Warranty Provider. The Warranty Claim response coordinates the claim adjudication from the R/3 backend system (Warranty Provider) through Netweaver XI to the PIP 6C2 WarrantyClaimConfirmation message which is sent back to the ASP via RNIF.
