SAP Logistics/Sales/Service Consultant - Silicon Valley Bay Area
Detailed Position Description
As an SAP Logistics consultant you are involved with all day-to-day aspects of an SAP project implementation. Responsibilities include identifying and designing requirements, system config, testing, training and support.
Core Skills required:
Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics/Sales/Service:
SD, MM, PM/SM, modules and their
integration. Also we'd consider SAP consultants with good background
only in SD or SM/PM looking to expand their expertise into a more broad skillset crossing multiple modules.
Required skill set
SAP Sales and Distribtion and/or Service Management/Plant Maintenance skills:
- Configuration skills in sales and distribution, SD, contracts, shipping -- OR:
- Configuration skills in PM/SM: equipments, functional locations, task lists, BOM, serial number profile, work center, warranty master, counters, service notification, service orders
Desirable, not mandatory:
- Knowledge of service costing and billing, variant configuration, ippE (MPL)
- Business Processes: service business process background: In-house-, Field Service Repair process
- Desirable: Integration with other modules
- Previous consulting experience
Other experience required:
- 2+ years of previous SAP experience
- Completed at least one full cycle implementation
- Ability to work as team player
- Excellent client facing communication and presentation skills
- Willing to travel
- Strong problem solving skills
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor
Travel required: 100% or None if located in project location
Telecommute: no / sometimes possible
